In May, 1995, Yiwu Simei Trademark Weaving Co., Ltd was founded.

In October, 1998, the original Simei Company was relocated, and regrouped to establish “Yiwu Yimei Computer Trademark Weaving Co., Ltd” by the Sino-foreign joint ventures.

In February, 1999, Yimei Trademark Company was approved the ISO9000 quality system certificate.

In March, 2001, Zhejiang Yimei Film Industrial Group Company was established.

In March, 2002, the BOPP project invested by Yimei Film Company with the total investment of RMB 0.70 billion was launched officially.

In March, 2003, Yimei Film Company introduced the first Germany Bruckner BOPP production line with the annual yield of 0.025 million tons by investing RMB0.15 billion.  

In December 2003, the group bought Yiwu Department Store Co., Ltd.

In September 2004, Yimei Film Company introduced the second Germany Bruckner BOPP production line with the annual yield of 0.03 million tons by investing RMB0.17 billion.

In January 2005, Yimei Plaza Hotel, the 4-star rebuilt commercial hotel with 28-storey was completed.

In May 2006, the Group bought Yiwu Tonghui Co., Ltd.

In June 2006, the Group bought the building of Zhejiang Light Products Import and Export Co., Ltd and Hangzhou Yuxing Property Co., Ltd.  

In December 2006, the Group bade successfully a land of 200,001m² in the hometown of Xishi (a beauty in ancient time) in Zhuji city at a price of RMB0.63 billion; this land will be developed to establish a big international ecological top-grade villa residency village with a total investment of RMB1.3 billion.

In June 2007, the Group bought successfully Jiangsu Huaian Jinfeng Group.
